Description
It appears that at present, the only way to adjust individual voice volumes is to hover over their avatar name, get an "i," click on that, and then use the volume slider that pops up. According to the SL V2 documentation, you should also be able to get this "i" option by hovering over the name in the "nearby voice" floater, but that does not work. The only way to even have this feature available to you is to have basic hover tips activated. This is horrifically annoying and terribly inconvenient when one spends any amount of time on voice whatsoever.
Nearby voice is in desperate need of volume sliders, as Phoenix has in the active speakers list. At a minimum, one should not have to activate hover tips and deal with those popping up everywhere just to have the ability to control people's voice volumes at all.
Agree that adjusting volumes should not require hover, and be accomplishable in less clicks.
