      Description

When trying to upload textures as part of my smoketest run, i came upon this error. The viewer will produce a Fatal Error when trying to upload a texture then close out the viewer. I can consistently reproduce this error, and it is the same error each time. I am on a mac, so I am unsure if this is showing up on windows or linux.

      How to reproduce:
      1. go to avatar
      2. go to upload> image
      3. the window will come up showing you pictures you can download, you can select a picture and click ok.
4 Firestorm will freeze up and produce a scary looking box that says Fatal Error ERROR: llrender/livevertexbuffer.cpp(1811): get: VertexBufferStrider could not find valid vertex data. with an ok sign after it.
      5. clicking ok will close the viewer window.

I have done this at least 7 times with the same results. I could take more pictures, but the notice is always the same. I cannot upload any textures, and many would freak out seeing 'fatal error" on their computer, so I listed it as critical.

I have the same 'fatal error' on Win7 with texture uploading resulting in Firestorm shutting down on hitting OK button

My viewer gives a slightly different version of the error. When trying to upload an image, the viewer stops responding. Task manager will end the problem without closing firestorm, but when the firestorm icon is pressedon the task-bar - a documents window opens. if i close the documents window, i return to the open firestorm viewer. it happens every time i try to upload a texture.

also the viewer is always on top of the screen so i'm unable to minimise it but it minimises itself if i access marketplace from inworld. my web browser opens and firestorm minimises !!!

Any suggestions ? I've deleted the old version
