      media_plugin_gstreamer

Please re-install the plugin or contact the vendor if you continue to experience problems.

      Webkit plugin works fine.

Replacing file 'SLPlugin' with SLPlugin from older release (4.7.2) fixes the problem and video playback works normally.

Additionally in comparing the file sizes of the 'libmedia_plugin_gstreamer.so' files in the llplugin folder against the one from 4.7.2.45478 I noticed that the one for 4.7.2.45478 is a little larger than the one for 4.7.3.47321, making me wonder if maybe there was a change made to that file that's causing the problem.

Confirmed in Debian 8.1 and Linux Mint 17.2 KDE in Fs 4.7.3 47323 .. none of the video players or places providing video streaming could make it work out.

Most regular dependencies (included arch386 and flash player for 386) were added and others come built in or in the 3 last Fs releases provided (libwebkit and libpangox also)
In my case when trying video streaming I didn't get sound and video .. and the flashplugin was in trying to achieve to play .. showing that circling clock revolving still it got frozen: https://gyazo.com/e096165592cf13934014001a7db490fd

Pretty sure this is related. Running a "movie night" on sundays which is youtube videos. This past sunday I had to do a quick revert to Phoenix_Firestorm-Beta_i686_4.7.1.45325 (that's the directory name) to get the screen to work in-world. Detailed order: I had the freshplayerplugin which implements the pepper plugin in npapi. Wiped that and flash settings/caches, reverted to the aging npapi flash. Neither worked, and was running out of time, so I bumped Firestorm back, which works.

The static built webkit in firestorm64 will handle the mp4 gstreamer you need to install gst-ffmpeg.
the other ones are broke if you try to use the tv . the static built webkit is unable to load shared lib that
are basically wrapper for flash. This issue will most likely will not be fixed do to cef3.
may want to try my repo and build this issue has been solved for a few years now.

[In my case when trying video streaming I didn't get sound and video .. and the flashplugin was in trying to achieve to play .. showing that circling clock revolving still it got frozen]
This is caused buy your pulseaudio you need to install alsa-plugin.
The reason why when flash starts it will try to create a plugin. and Pulseaudio has no way to handle that.
right now all the stuff is going over to html5 so going to youtube to test it will not help. All the browsers for debian are compiled with Pulseaudio enabled. so is the viewer.
install alsa-plugin now pulseaudio can load that module.

          Lord Drakeo,

I had alsa-plugin as installed , tried reinstalling it too, but it is the same result, it does not load the streaming web pages either. Thanks for your helping tip .

Today I tried to trace up this issue and found the plugin actually crashes every time on line 81 of media_plugins/gstreamer010/llmediaimplgstreamer_syms.cpp:
line 80: //attempt to load the shared libraries
          line 81: apr_pool_create(&sSymGSTDSOMemoryPool, NULL);

Simply adding apr_initialize() before that call solved this issue but I don't think that's the right fix. apr_initialize() should be already called way back in llplugin/slplugin/slplugin.cpp under ll_init_apr().

I uploaded the patch I currently use anyway: plugin_gstreamer010_64bit_fix.patch
