      Description

Group chats still come though on screen when disabled. It seems if the communicate window is closed, or if it's open and personal im is selected or "contacts" is selected in the window, however if I select local chat, the messages stop. I have included a screen shot showing my preferences and chat windows and the im's still coming through. I have included a screen shot that demonstrates the problem. The setting was enabled when I logged in.

I may be mistaken but I believe this is the server pushing the messages through regardless. It seems to happen for a while after chat is closed and then gradually stops. Meaning it is more server-side than viewer side.

It continues for me, no matter how long I've been logged in. The worst part: the messages I get I can't tell what group it's from because the windows don't open. I have to open the right window and then close it to stop getting the messages on my screen, making this feature almost worse than if it did not exist. Currently I've been logged in for a couple hours and I'm still getting messages from random groups on my screen.

        Steps to verify:

        1. Turn on "Disable ALL group chats"
        2. Login.
        3. Communicate floater can be open or closed
        4. Have another account speak in a group, or be in a noisy group (like Pheonix Support group)
        • Console chat prints "IM: other users name: what they said" till lingering group chat session dies.

I found the problem; reworking the feature to avoid this issue and to make sure our client gets disconnected from the chat session.
